Distance Learning Single-Semester Courses
The Single-Semester Courses are open to students in the Greater New York City area as well as those in more distant locations.
Classes are 10 weeks in length, and meet for 90 minutes. Class readings are sent to registered students via a Dropbox link at no additional cost.
Each of the single-semester courses provides 15 New York State Education Department-approved CE credits to psychoanalysts, psychologists, and social workers who complete the course. To receive CE credits, attendance at all classes and turning in weekly logs are required.
All single-semester courses are conducted via Zoom. Most classes consist of students in various locations, but it is also possible, if a student has a group of people who are interested in meeting together, to arrange a class in which all participants Zoom in from the same location.
The Distance Learning Program is part of the CMPS Continuing Education Department and does not provide credit toward psychoanalytic certification or licensure.
The fee for each semester-long course $550.
