    Social Justice Scholarship

    The Social Justice Scholarship was established to increase the representation of Black students at CMPS.  After receiving notification of acceptance by the program, incoming Black students may request an application for the scholarship from the registrar.  This need-based scholarship covers tuition and makes provision for reduced-fee analysis and supervision.  It may be renewed annually.  Scholarship applications are due by July 14.

    Evelyn J. and Leonard M. Liegner Scholarship

    The Evelyn J. and Leonard M. Liegner Scholarship was established in memory of these two founders of CMPS, longtime faculty members, and dedicated supporters of modern psychoanalytic training.  This need-based scholarship, which provides a $2000 grant to help defray tuition, may be applied for by students in Levels 2 and 3.  Letters of application should describe one’s motivations for studying psychoanalysis, professional goals, and financial need, and should have a CV attached.  They should be sent to Faye Newsome at newsome65@aol.com.

    Ethel Goldwater Clevans Scholarship

    This need-based scholarship honors the memory of Ethel Goldwater Clevans, a founder and longtime faculty member of The Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies.  It assists students who have difficulty meeting their tuition.  Candidates wishing to apply should address requests to the CMPS Alumni Association Scholarship Committee, c/o the Center office, by July 30 for the fall semester and December 15 for the spring semester.
